82:1 When the sky breaks apart.

82:2 and when the stars fall, scattered,

82:3 and when the seas burst forth,

82:4 and when the graves are overturned,

82:5 then each soul will come to know what it has done or what it has left undone.

82:6 O mankind, what has lured you away from your Lord, the Most Generous,

82:7 Who created you, then shaped and proportioned you,

82:8 and assembled you in whatever form He willed?

82:9 No indeed; but you deny the Judgment Day,

82:10 while there are watchers[1] over you,

82:11 honorable scribes,

82:12 who know whatever you do.

82:13 Indeed, the righteous will be in Bliss,

82:14 and the wicked will be in Blazing Fire,

82:15 which they will enter on Judgment Day,

82:16 and will never come out of it.

82:17 How do you know what Judgment Day is?

82:18 Again, how do you know what Judgment Day is?

82:19 It is the Day when no soul will be of any help to another, and all command on that Day will be with Allah.

83:1 Woe to the defrauders[1],

83:2 those who take full measure when they take from others,

83:3 but they give less when they measure or weigh for them.

83:4 Do they really not think that they will be resurrected
