90:19 As for those who reject Our signs, they are the people of the Left[1],

90:20 who will be locked up in the Fire.

91:1 By the sun and its brightness,

91:2 and by the moon as it follows it[1],

91:3 and by the day as it displays it[1],

91:4 and by the night as it covers it[1],

91:5 and by the sky and how He made it,

91:6 and by the earth and how He spread it,

91:7 and by the soul and how He fashioned it[1],

91:8 then inspired it [to know] its wickedness and righteousness,

91:9 Indeed, he who purifies his soul will attain success,

91:10 and he who corrupts it will be doomed.

91:11 Thamūd rejected [the messenger] because of their transgression,

91:12 when the most wretched among them rose[1].

91:13 Although the messenger of Allah warned them, “Hands off the she-camel of Allah and her drink!”

91:14 Yet they rejected him and hamstrung her[1]. So their Lord destroyed them for their sin and leveled them to the ground.

91:15 And He has no fear of the consequences thereof[1].

92:1 By the night when it covers[1],

92:2 and by the day when it appears,

92:3 and by His creation of male and female,

92:4 surely your efforts are diverse [in aims and purposes].

92:5 As for the one who gives in charity and fears Allah,

92:6 and truly believes in the best reward,

92:7 We will make easy for him the way of salvation.

92:8 But as for the one who is miserly and deems himself self-sufficient,

92:9 and denies the best reward,
