76:26 and prostrate to Him at night, and glorify Him at length by night[1].

76:27 Indeed, these [pagans] love this fleeting life and pay no heed to a heavy Day ahead of them.

76:28 It is We Who created them and strengthened their build. If We will, We can replace them with others like them.

76:29 Indeed, this is a reminder; so whoever wills may take a way to his Lord.

76:30 But you cannot will unless Allah wills. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

76:31 He admits whom He wills into His mercy, but for the wrongdoers He has prepared a painful punishment.

77:1 By those [winds] sent forth in succession,

77:2 those that blow violently,

77:3 and scatter [rainclouds] far and wide,

77:4 And by those [angels] who bring criterion[1];

77:5 and those who deliver revelation,

77:6 leaving no excuse or giving warning –

77:7 what you are promised will surely come to pass.

77:8 So when the stars are effaced,

77:9 and when the sky is split apart,

77:10 and when the mountains are blown away,

77:11 and when the messengers are summoned[1],

77:12 until which Day has all this been postponed?

77:13 Until the Day of Judgment.

77:14 How do you know what the Day of Judgment is?

77:15 Woe on that Day to the deniers[1]!

77:16 Did We not destroy the earlier nations?

77:17 Then We will do likewise to the later ones.

77:18 This is how We deal with the wicked.

77:19 Woe on that Day to the deniers!
