3:53 “Our Lord, we believe in what You have sent down and we follow the messenger; so count us among those who bear witness [to the truth].”

3:54 And [the disbelievers] devised a plan, but Allah also made a plan[1], and Allah is the best of planners.

3:55 And [remember] when Allah said, “O Jesus, I will take you and raise you up to Myself[1] and deliver you from those who disbelieve, and make those who follow you above[2] those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then you will all return to Me, and I will judge between you concerning that over which you differed.

3:56 As for those who disbelieve, I will punish them severely in this world and the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers.

3:57 As for those who believe and do righteous deeds, He will give them their rewards in full, and Allah does not like the wrongdoers.”

3:58 This is what We recite to you of the verses and the wise reminder.

3:59 The similitude of Jesus before Allah[1] is like that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him, “Be,” and he was.

3:60 This is the truth from your Lord, so do not be of those who doubt.

3:61 Whoever disputes with you concerning [Jesus] after the knowledge has come to you, then say, “Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves, then invoke the curse of Allah upon the liars.”
