56:77 that this is indeed a noble Qur’an,

56:78 in a well-preserved Record[1],

56:79 that none can touch except the purified ones[1] –

56:80 a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.

56:81 Do you take this discourse lightly,

56:82 and instead [of thanking Allah] for the provision you are given, you show ingratitude?

56:83 Then why [are you helpless] when the soul reaches the throat,

56:84 while you are looking on,

56:85 when We are closer[1] to him than you, but you do not see?

56:86 If you are not subject to retribution, then why do you not

56:87 bring that [soul] back, if you are truthful?

56:88 If that dying person is one of those who will be brought near to Allah,

56:89 then [he will have] comfort, fragrance[1], and a Garden of Bliss.

56:90 If he is one of the people of the right,

56:91 [He will be told], “Peace be to you, for being one of the people of the right.”

56:92 But if he is one of the misguided deniers,

56:93 then he will be welcomed with scalding water,

56:94 and he will burn in Blazing Fire.

56:95 This is indeed the absolute truth.

56:96 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Most Great.

57:1 All that is in the heavens and earth glorifies[1] Allah, for He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.

57:2 To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and earth; He gives life and causes death, and He is Most Capable of all things.

57:3 He is the First[1] and the Last[2], the Manifest[3] and the Hidden[4], and He is All-Knowing of everything.
