50:36 How many nations We destroyed before these [Makkans] who were stronger than them in might! They sought refuge in the land. Did they find any escape?

50:37 Indeed, in that is a reminder for anyone who has a [mindful] heart or lends an attentive ear.

50:38 Indeed, We created the heavens and earth and all that is between them in six days, and no weariness touched Us[1].

50:39 So bear patiently [O Prophet] what they say, and glorify the praise of your Lord before sunrise and before sunset[1].

50:40 And glorify Him in the night[1] and after the prayers.

50:41 And listen! On the Day when the Caller will call out from a nearby place[1],

50:42 the Day when they will hear the Blast [of the second Trumpet] in truth[1]. That is the Day of Resurrection.

50:43 Indeed, it is We Who give life and cause death, and to Us is the final return.

50:44 On the Day when the earth will be rent asunder for them as they hasten forth [from their graves]; that is an easy gathering for Us.

50:45 We know best what they say, and you are not there to compel them to believe. But remind with the Qur’an those who fear My warning.

51:1 By the winds that scatter [dust],

51:2 and by the clouds carrying loads of water,

51:3 and by the ships that sail with ease,

51:4 and by the angels who distribute [blessings] by His command.

51:5 Indeed, what you are promised is true,

51:6 and the Judgment will surely come to pass.
