20:99 This is how We relate to you [O Prophet] from the stories of the past, and We have given you a Reminder[1] from Us.
20:100 Whoever turns away from it will bear a heavy burden on the Day of Resurrection,
20:101 abiding therein forever[1]. What a terrible burden they will carry on the Day of Resurrection!
20:102 the Day when the Trumpet will be blown; on that Day We will gather together the wicked sightless[1] [from horror].
20:103 They will whisper to one another, “You stayed no more than ten days [on earth].”
20:104 We know best what they will say – the most discerning among them will say, “You stayed no more than a day.”
20:105 They ask you about the mountains, say, “My Lord will scatter them into dust,
20:106 and He will leave the earth level and plain,
20:107 you will not see therein any troughs or peaks.”
20:108 On that day, they will follow the summoner[1]; none will dare to deviate. All voices will be hushed in awe before the Most Compassionate; you will hear nothing except a whisper[2].
20:109 On that day, no intercession will be of any use except to whom the Most Compassionate gave permission and approved his word.
20:110 He knows all that is ahead of them and all that is behind them[1], but they do not encompass it[2] with their knowledge.
20:111 All faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, Self-Sustaining. Those burdened with wrongdoing[1] will be in a total loss.
20:112 But whoever does righteous deeds, being a believer, will have no fear of being wronged or deprived.
20:113 We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an and diversified its warnings, so that they may fear Allah or it may cause them to take heed.
