Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali, Muhammad Muhsin Khan — 600
100:6 6. Verily, man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord.
100:7 7. And to that he bears witness (by his deeds).
100:8 8. And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth.
100:9 9. Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are poured forth (all mankind is resurrected)?
100:10 10. And that which is in the breasts (of men) is made known?
100:11 11. Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds and will reward them for their deeds).
101:1 1. Al-Qâri‘ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection).
101:2 2. What is the striking (Hour)?
101:3 3. And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is?
101:4 4. It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about.
101:5 5. And the mountains will be like carded wool.
101:6 6. Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy,[1]
101:7 7. He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise).
101:8 8. But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light,
101:9 9. He will have his home in Hâwiyah (pit, i.e. Hell).
101:10 10. And what will make you know what it is?
101:11 11. (It is) a fiercely blazing Fire!
102:1 1. The mutual rivalry (for piling up of worldly things) diverts you,
102:2 2. Until you visit the graves (i.e. till you die).
102:3 3. Nay! You shall come to know!
102:4 4. Again nay! You shall come to know!
102:5 5. Nay! If you knew with a sure knowledge (the end result of piling up, you would not have been occupied yourselves in worldly things).
102:6 6. Verily, You shall see the blazing Fire (Hell)!
102:7 7. And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight!
102:8 8. Then on that Day you shall be asked about the delights[1] (you indulged in, in this world)!
